Your Splunk AI toolkit is waiting 🛠️
Submissions don’t open until May 18th — but the builders who hit the ground running on launch day are often the ones who win. Now is your window to explore Splunk’s AI capabilities, get your environment set up, and start shaping your idea.
📅 Just a heads up: the build period officially starts when submissions open on May 18th.
Everything you need is on the Resources page
We’ve loaded the Resources page with docs and tutorials covering all of Splunk’s latest AI capabilities — from Splunk MCP Server and AI Assistant to AI Toolkit, Hosted Models, and more. It’s your starting point for everything.
Get your environment set up
The Resources page also walks you through getting access — here’s the quick version:
- Create a free Splunk account
- Download Splunk Enterprise free trial (which will be valid for 60 days from the time of install).
- Request for a Developer License through the developer program and apply the Developer License to your free trial, where the agreement changes to developer use cases (Developer License will be valid for 6 months)
💡 Already have a Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud License? You can skip straight to requesting a Developer License and applying it to your existing instance.
Full challenge details coming May 13th
Track details, full requirements, and prizes will all be revealed on May 13th — five days before submissions open. Stay tuned.
